MANILA, Philippines — Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon said they would revisit the budget of the agency and vowed to complete the revision within two weeks.
“We will follow the directive of our President. And for how this will be done, I think we will be guided by our Secretary of the Department of Budget and Management,” Dizon told reporters during a briefing late Wednesday.
“I talked with the Secretary of the Department of Budget and Management and we both agreed on a two-week timeline,” he added.
DPWH to revisit budget, to complete revisions within 2 weeks

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday directed both departments to conduct a "sweeping review" of the DPWH proposed budget under the 2026 National Expenditure Program (NEP).
